Hot Shots Orange stage
Orange is the Swisse Hot Shots Tennis stage for kids aged 8–10+. Children develop tennis skills through game-based play, including tactics in singles and doubles, teamwork and respect.

They use a 50 per cent compression orange ball on scaled courts. The ball is still slower than a standard tennis ball, and the court is still scaled, so kids can play real points while the game stays the right size.

What Orange adds
By this stage, rallying is familiar. Orange uses that rally to teach how a point is played.

Singles and doubles: Kids try both, so they learn to cover a court on their own and to play with a partner.
Tactics: Game-based play is where simple choices show up — where to hit, when to move, how to work with a teammate.
Teamwork and respect: How kids play with and against each other matters as much as the score.

The orange ball
A 50 per cent compression ball bounces less than a full-compression tennis ball. That gives children time to set up, keep the rally going and try a tactic instead of only reacting. Scaled courts keep the space matched to their size and ability.

How Orange connects to the other stages
Blue (3–5+) builds movement. Red (5–8+) builds rallying with a softer, larger red ball and 19–23 inch racquets. Orange (8–10+) builds game play. Green (10+) is next, with 25–27 inch racquets, a 75 per cent compression green ball, and full or modified courts — for kids who want to play for fun, and for kids who want more challenge and competition.
